Originally from Glasgow, Anna McConville is a Wanaka-based producer with nearly two decades of experience delivering projects across the events and film industries.

Background

Her background includes more than 15 years working in large-scale event production, managing logistics, suppliers and teams across a wide range of high-profile events and destination experiences throughout New Zealand and the UK.

More recently, Anna has worked within the local film industry, supporting productions across coordination, logistics, remote-location delivery and on-set support roles.

This combination of event and production experience allows Anna to approach every project with a calm, practical and solutions-focused mindset – ensuring work is clearly coordinated and well managed throughout.

Experience

Having lived in Wanaka for more than 16 years and spending much of her time outdoors, Anna brings a natural understanding of the landscapes, environments and experiences that draw people to the region.

Supported by an established network of trusted local suppliers, operators and industry contacts, AMC Projects is able to confidently support a wide range of projects – from private client experiences and destination events through to remote and outdoor productions.

Known for being practical, reliable and easy to work with, Anna approaches projects with a balance of strong organisation, clear communication and a grounded people-focused way of working.

Anna was a valued member of the Festival of Colour team for over a decade, contributing across a range of operational and event management roles while taking on increasing responsibility as the organisation evolved and grew.

Anna worked across venue management, H&S, consents, volunteers, marketing and event management, while also providing key support to both the Executive & Artistic Directors across the many moving parts involved in delivering the Festival of Colour and Aspiring Conversations.

Throughout her decade with the festival, Anna demonstrated a natural ability to build positive relationships while bringing structure and clarity to complex projects.

Anna is someone who can be trusted to take ownership, work collaboratively and contribute positively to any project she is involved in.

Anna has been a trusted member of our extended team since 2022, supporting commercial, tourism and branded content projects across New Zealand.

Over the years, she has worked across production coordination, production management, casting, locations and production support roles, as well as independently producing stills campaigns from start to finish. Her versatility, initiative, ruthless efficiency and willingness to jump in wherever needed make her an incredibly valuable part of the team.
